Health Care Insurance
There is a major debate going on by the leaders of this nation (and by many Americans) over the health care bill that is presently before the congress. Thousands of people have spent a multitude of hours, as well as money, both promoting and attempting to defeat this legislation. Television, radio, and newspapers are headlining the issue. Coffee shops, checkout lines, and blogs are abuzz with talk about it. Just listening to it all might make you think that this is the most important issue of our present existence. It is not.
Having the best possible health care when a life is hanging in the balance is certainly most desirable. But remember that it has not been that many years ago when doctors were paid with chickens and potatoes. It may be difficult to imagine, but in many remote areas of the world people exist without the benefits of a cardiologist, an oncologist, an orthopedic surgeon or even a podiatrist.
While health care is important in everyone’s life, it is not the most important issue. It is an age old truth that even with the best, most advanced medical care in existence, there is still that unavoidable appointment with death that everyone must keep (Hebrews 9:27). On the day of that appointment, the greatest and most comprehensive health care insurance plan will be of no value to you.
But there is an assurance plan that will make all the difference in the world, yes, even beyond this world, to you. The assurance agent’s name is Jesus Christ. The underwriter of this plan is Jehovah.
The benefits of this plan begin when a person believes that the agent [Jesus Christ] is the Son of God (John 8:24); repents of his or her sins (Luke 13:3), confesses that Jesus is the Son of God (Acts 8:37), and then is immersed into the water to have all sins remitted (Acts 2:38), washed away in the blood of Jesus Christ (Revelation 1:5). At that point, this person becomes a policy holder and is due all the benefits and proceeds as described in the policy (the
New Testament).
The terms of the policy are laid out in the New Testament. A person must comply with the terms of the policy or else he or she may be chastened (Hebrews 12:6-11). Continued failure to comply with the terms of the policy will result in your name being removed from the roll (the book of Life, Revelation 3:5; 20:15; 22:19).
Some of the benefits of this plan (not all benefits will be listed here) are as follows: 1) Your sins will be washed away and you will be made clean, white as snow (Acts 22:16; Isaiah 1:18). 2) Your sins will be remembered no more (Hebrews 10:17). 3) You will be adopted into the family of God (1 John 3:1). 4) Your conscience will be cleansed from all guilt (1 Peter 3:21). 5) As you walk in compliance with the terms of this policy (walk in the light) your sins will be continually cleansed (1 John 1:7, 9). 6) You will be the beneficiary of the promise of eternal life (1 John 2:25). 7) A mansion will also be prepared for you in your eternal home (John 14:1-3). 8. In that place there will be no health insurance plan for in that place there is no more disease, pain, death or tears (Revelation 21:4). 9) The benefits of this policy will never be diminished and this policy will never be cancelled (1 Peter 1:4). 10) And, the best part is, the premiums for this plan has been paid in full by Jesus Christ.
This is the most important, the most comprehensive, the ultimate of all assurance plans you will ever find anywhere. And it is offered to you at no cost. What do you say? Are you ready to take up this plan right away? Would you share this policy with your friends and neighbors? Don’t wait another day. Tomorrow may be too late (2 Corinthians 6:2).
